GEOMETRY OF DRIP SOIL MOISTURE LOCAL CONTOURS FORMED IN SOUTHERN CHERNOZEMS

Purpose: to determine empirical dependencies that allow predicting the geometric parameters of local soil moisture contours formed during drip irrigation southern chernozems. Materials and methods. The basis study was data experimental measurements contour chernozems, irrigation, on 10 sites, characterized by: content physical clay from 29.0 71.1 % dry mass (DSM), field capacity 20.0 30.3 DSM, density 1.29 1.4 t/cub. m. Soil characteristics were studied using methods N. A. Kachinsky, “flooded areas” “cutting ring”. samples determined according GOST 28268-89. Results. Analytical processing outlines made it possible obtain a system for determining outline, diameter, horizontal projection area volume contour. Dependencies take into account – clay, bulk density, as well technological dripper consumption, depth, levels pre-irrigation post-irrigation rate. obtained tested other researchers. As result, deviations calculated values diameter ones did not exceed 11.3 averaged 4.8 %. Forecasting showed deviation calculation experiment average 8.9 %, 8.8 Conclusions. Empirical dependences shape, linear, areal volumetric dimensions in chernozems have been established. results testing help conclude proposed are acceptable practical use.
